Könnte das Adjektive „worth noting“ auch vor dem „benefit” stehen? Denn Adjektive stehen doch immer vor einem Substantiv?

Hallo,
worth noting ist kein Adjektiv. Hier handelt es sich vielmehr um ein Participle Construction, in der das Present Participle die (ing-Form des Verbs)
anstelle eines Relativsatzes verwendet wird.
But with a cooking contest winner in the house, there was another benefit that/which was worth noting. = der es wert war erwähnt zu werden.
- Beispiel: Most children who live in slums are ill. (Relativsatz) - Most children living in slums are ill. (participle construction)
We read the book, which was recommended. (Relativsatz) We read the recommended book. (participle construction)
- anstelle von adverbialen Nebensätzen
- Beispiel: When we passed the church, we saw a wedding carriage. (adverbialer Nebensatz) - Passing the church, we saw a wedding carriage. (participle construction)

Mit worth mentioning für erwähnenswert würde der Satz ebenfalls, ... there was another benefit worth mentioning. heißen, da es sich bei worth mentioning um ein prädikatives Adjektiv handelt. (A predicate adjective is an adjective that comes after a linking verb and describes or modifies the subject of the sentence.)
Ich kann dir leider als native speaker nicht genau erklären wieso, aber:
Es klingt mit dem „worth noting benefit“ nicht gut, also tatsächlich sogar falsch, weil es dann theoretisch sowas wie „Note worthy benefit“ sein müsste, was so keinen Sinn machen würde.
ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob worth noting als ein Adjektiv zählt. An sich ist worth ja nur das Adjektiv
