Korrekturlesen – Englisch Verbformen?
Hallo, in diesem Text musste ich Verben im Simple Present oder Present Progressive einsetzen, allerdings bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich das richtig gemacht habe, daher würde ich mich freuen, wenn einer Korrektur liest und gegebenenfalls verbessert! Danke im Voraus. :)
Experts often warn that the Earth’s climate is changing. CO2 emissions are the main cause of climate change, they say.
Nowadays, most developed countries are trying to reduce their CO2 emissions, but most of them are making slow progress at the moment. European countries spend billion dollars euros on wind farms, etc., but at the same time we’re buying more goods from poorer countries. Industry there produces a lot of CO2 so some critics argue that we are just exporting our CO2 emissions!

das ist schwierig zu entziffern, deinen Lehrer beneide ich nicht.
Für eine Korrektur wirst du dir aber schon die Mühe machen müssen, den Text hier reinzuhacken. So sind das Korrekturlesen und eine Korrektur viel zu mühsam und aufwändig!

Das liegt glaube ich an der Grafik von dem Bild hier, habe den Text noch einmal abgetippt :)

sieht eigentlich gut aus. Nur würde ich "spend" durch "are spending" ersetzen, da der Satz ja ein parallel verlaufendes Geschehen zu "at the same we're buying ..." ausdrückt. Und dass Investitionen in erneuerbare Energien wie etwa Windenergie sich auch zurzeit ändern bzw. ändern können, zeigen die Restriktionen zum Bau neuer Windräder in Deutschland leider nur zu deutlich ...

Die Zeitformen stimmen. Das Fettgedruckte muss korrigiert werden. Ich hoffe, ich habe nichts übersehen.

most of them are making slow progress. (At the Moment, würde man so nicht benutzen, dass wäre auch sinnlich doppletgemoppelt).
Außerdem müsste es "Billions of Euros" heißen
und "The industry.."
