Online learning is very difficult and unmotivated (Wort) for the students, on the other hand, learning at school is much better. The classes start at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. (Hier fehlt eine Präposition.) My opinion (---) online learning is a bad idea because students learn very little when if (doppelt-gemoppelt, soll heißen eines dieser Wörter ist zuviel) there is no online learning (Ich würde hier mit dem Plural arbeiten.), (neuer Satz) the number of infections ( Covid-19 ) increases that (Wort) is also a not good thing. (Arbeite mit not either.)

In my opinion, online learning is a bad idea because students learn very little and it stresses them out because they get a lot of homework to do. But on the other hand, with online learning the number of infections of the COVID-19 pandemic increases and we can faster get back to normal learning in school.

Habe ich auch genau dass gemacht was in der Aufgabenstellung steht?

Hier die Aufgabe:

Write a short text (100-120 words) about where YOU go to or where YOU get food from at lunchtime (cafe, restaurant, take away place, bakery, fast food restaurant). What do you like better: Eating out or eating at home?

In my lunchtime I eat only healthy food, because unhealthy food to contain a lot of fat. My food is from the home. Because this is cheaper than a meal from the canteen. I eat my food always in the sitting room from the school. I eat never in the canteen or in a bakery and also not in restaurants. Because I think a meal from the home is healthier than a meal from the restaurant. This is my favourite meal for a typical lunchtime: A healthy bread with a healty filling, a slice of carrots and apples or bananas. My favourite fruit is banana! But I think apple is as good as kiwi. I eat not fast food because this is very unhealty. I like vegetables, but I prefer fruits to vegetables.

Habe ich auch 'the' und 'a' richtig gesetzt? Passt der Text zu der Aufgabe? Stimmen auch die Sätze im Text: But I think apple is as good as kiwi.

Bei denen ganzen 'a' bin ich mir wirklich unsicher.

Und ist dieser Satz richtig? Because I think a meal from the home is healthier than a meal from the restaurant.

Dort wo ich 'from' geschrieben habe, bei "in the sitting room from the school, ist das richtig so mit from?

Kann man 'sitting room' schreiben? Ich meine damit einen Aufenthaltsraum.

Bei denen Sätze, Buchstaben und Wörter, die fett markiert sind, bin ich mir unsicher ob die so stimmen. Kann mir da jemand helfen?

This comment will be about school uniforms. in the USA for example there are schools where you have to wear school uniforms and in germany you dont have to wear them. now the question is if we should introduce school uniforms in germany?

On the one hand school uniforms are very good. when everyone wears the same, nobody can say things because of their look like. so there is less bullying at school. nobody recognize if someone is poor or rich and it's easier for poorer people to find friends. In addition to this the students are a community. All of them are working together. Without school uniforms there are allways some outsider which have to work alone. the class is not divided into cool and not cool but there is a single group. also the school is represented by the students when they wear uniforms. all looks the same and the whole school hold together. everybody can see which school it is.

But on the other hand school uniforms are not very helpful. you can not wear what you want and you can not have your own style. But this is very important at this age. students have to develop their own personalities. moreover you can not stop bullying. maybe it is reduced by school uniforms but you can never stop it forever. there are students who does not look good with them or they are bullied because of their behavior. in addition, bullying takes place in the free time of students. so outsider are only in school protected. above all it is very expensive. families have to buy these uniforms and they are not cheap. when you have more than one child, it becomes more expensive. after school most of the students wear normal clothes. so you have to buy both - school uniforms and clothes for the free time. everyone changes the outfit once per day. it is very expensive for poor families. maybe their children have to wear the uniform the whole day.

Let me introduce myself.

But first I say something about my family.

My parents come from Turkey. My Mother doesn't work and my Father works in Road construction. I have 1 older sister she is 19 and a little brother he is 5 years old. My sister made a training as a nurse. Then it has aborted. And my brother goes to nursery school.

And now about me.

My name is +++++ ++++and I am 16 years old. I was born in Germany in ++++. I live in Germany in Baden Württemberg and I attend the 9th class of ++++++ School. At school my favorite subject is Math, because I like this subject. At school I think I'm okay. In English I'm not so good but in Math and German I think I’m good. In my class we are 24 students. I can speak German, Turkish and English.

My hobbies are playing football and I play my games on the Computer with my friends but I go outside too. In my free time, I go out with my friends to play football or I watch TV. I love listening to music. My favorite music star is +++++, a ++++ rap star. I have a best friend and his name is ++++. But he’s not here in the school. I hope that I will have a big car, a big house and a beautiful girlfriend.

On 30th July I attended the Summer Camp which is located in Santa Monica. In all honesty, I was very satisfied with this journey. However, there is a reason why I am writing to you. Firstly I have to admit that the meals were significantly amazing. It is remarkable that there is finally no fast food unlike to other summer courses I have been to. Moreover, the Los Angeles sights and surfing at Venice Beach in my free time were very enjoyable.

As far as I could tell, it seems to me that I have learned nothing necessary in courses. Please don`t get me wrong but in my view, there were more leisure activities like sports, parties etc than learning opportunities. I invested all my money and time to learn something new but the quality of the learning strategy was like at the middle school level. I was on Campus not to only have fun but rather zu study.

As you will appreciate, considering the problems I faced during my stay, I would be grateful if you would give me a refund of part of the price back. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem.

Englisch Argumentative essay- homeschooling Verbesserung?

Hallo zusammen,

ich schreibe morgen eine Englisch Klassenarbeit über das Thema Argumentative Essay(9.te Klasse Gymnasium). Ich habe als eine Übung ein two-sided-comment über Homeschooling geschrieben. Vorweg schonmal, Ich bin nicht sehr gut in Englisch und ich weiß, dass dies kein guter Text ist. Ich würde mich über ein schnelles Feedback und möglicherweise über eine Grammatikalische oder auch Inhaltliche Verbesserung freuen.

Last week a friend from Austria visited me and told me he is learning from home. So i asked myself , if homeschooling is better than presence school.

First, I will talk about the disadvantages and later about the advantages of homeschooling. To conclude I will summarize my arguments and share my personal opinion.

My first, strongest con Argument is about the contact with the other class mates you do not have, If you learn from home. Making social contact and finding friends is really important in the early development. Interchange about clothes, hair styles, hobbys, food, movies and so one is part of it. In addition most of the time you do homeschooling alone so you can feel lonely. To sum up, the social contact should be never neglected.

My second contra Argument is about the expensivity from homeschooling. Homeschooning can be really expensive because you have a private teacher who only teaches you. Private teachers have to create a learning plan, often personalized exercises and do conferences with you which are some factors for the expensivity. All in all the expensivity is a factor which speek against homeschooling.

Nevertheless, there are some important pro Arguments for home schooling.

My strongest pro Argument is the own learning speed. In presence school you are with many other studenst in the same class and the teacher follows the average speed, which can be really frustating, when the Teacher keeps going but you do not understand the topic. In homeschooling you have the advantage that the teacher goes with your own learning speed and can always explain specificaly for you. To sum up, If you have a fast or slow learning speed, homeschooling could be the solution for you.

My second pro Argument is that in home schooling can be no bullying. You are alone with your teacher and not with other students who can bully you. Safety is really important so you can fully focus on education without beeing scared. To sum up, this is a really important aspect because bullying is bad and need to be stopped.

To conclude the con points were that you have no contact with other students and homeschooling can be really expensive because the teacher only teaches you. My pro arguments were that you can learn with your own learning speed and finish topics when you finally understood them. My pro Argument was that in home schooling there is no bullying and bullying is bad and need to be stopped. I think that homeschooling should be individual allowed, for example for people with slow or fast learning speed.

Los Angeles has seen the evil

A recent school shooting in Los Angeles has brought the issue of school safety in the bad light. So, people became aware of these happening. On 30th April 2023, two 17-year-old students have armed their high school with two guns which left 11 people dead and 5 injured. This incident has left people worried about the safety of students and staff at schools.

Gun violence, especially in schools, is still a national crisis in the United States and migrants are still allowed to carry a gun because of the “national firearms agreement”. Due to the licenses of weapons, such acts are occurring more and more frequently. In order to protect students and school staff, most schools have security guards. There are also usually controls at the entrances. As a way to prevent non-schoolers from entering the school, they have their own school cards, which clearly show the identifies of the students. In addition, the police have increased their presence at schools.

Students, who have witnessed such incident, are usually traumatised and can hardly cope without psychological help. Many students and parents report terrible feelings and perceptions. “I was so scared when I heard gunshots. I ran and hid under a desk until the police came. Now I’m afraid to come back to school,” says a victim who survived this cruelty. Parents were calling desperately for their children, they even got more scared when they didn’t respond. These are just a few. As a result, the police has to deal with such incidents more and more often. “It is nothing scary anymore, we are already used to it”, claims a policeman. “We are already best prepared for such acts”, adds another officer. They have certain educations and trainings for these hardships.

Due to the school shooting on April 30th, this issue is more present than ever. Many students and parents are extremely frightened that they can also be victims. This clearly shows that much more could be done preventively.

I would like to be a self-employed entrepreneur because self-employment ends unemployment, it achieved a higher income. You can make time independent and you get the previous social environment can leave.

The independent entrepreneur makes his own business decisions. He is responsible for everything in the company. He bears the financial risk.

 I am well suited for this job because I am a team player, creative, flexible and responsible.

 I am motivated to become an independent entrepreneur because I want to be my own boss and develop and implement my own ideas and concepts.

 To start my own I would see what kind of “company” it is, then I would find the right legal form. I would go further, find a suitable company name. Then I would look how much money I have and create a business plan.

 My future hopes when I have my own company are that my company will be known worldwide, that I have a lot of employees, that I have a turnover of 5 million euros and that I can sell many products. My fears are that I will go broke and that I will not be known.

I'm also afraid that I don't produce a lot of products and that I don't have nice employees.

 The qualifications are ambition, willingness to work, willingness to take risks, Resilience, Creativity, Sense of responsibility, required.

 The advantages of being independent are that you can determine yourself, you can realize yourself, you have more freedom, you have no conflicts with superiors. Furthermore, you have higher work motivation because you work for yourself. The chance to live out your own calling. The chance to make more money than an employee.

 The disadvantage of independent is that You work an above-average amount of work. If the order situation is bad, there is no regular salary. You take a higher financial risk, depending on the type of business.

Wie findet ihr diesen Argumentative Essay, ich hab heute die Klassenarbeit zurückbekommen und hab eine 4 bekommen. (9.Klasse)

Die Aufgabe war folgende: Schreibe einen Argumentative Essay über das Thema: "Doing an exchange year in Australia is a great idea". Wir mussten mindestens 3 Argumente dafür, und 3 dagegen finden.

Australia, the continent where the most dangerous animals are living, is very interesting for students who want to do an exchange year in a country where people speak English. The following essay will show argument sfor, and against doing an exchange year in Australia.

At the beginning, we will look at the arguments against the exchange year.

First, in Australia there are lots of dangerous animals, for example snakes, spiders, and others, they can kill you with just a bite, and it could be hard to get the medicin for that.

Furthermore, you could argue you cant visit your family very often, the distance between Australia and Germany is really big, and the tickets for planes are really expensive.

The last argument against the exchange year, is that it might be hard for you to understand the Australian people talking, because of their hard accent.

Lets move on to the arguments for doing an exchange year in Australia.

Firstly, Australia offers a lot when it comes to nature, on the one day you could see a shark swimming in the sea, and on the other, you could be in the desert.

Another argument for doing the exchange year is, that you can learn a lot about other cultures, for example the Aboriginals. You could learn how they lived in the Outback, or about the stolen generations.

Last but not least, you could argue that you would learn the language, if you are doing an exchange year in Australia, because you would speak English all day long.

In my opinion, an exchange year to Australia is a great way to learn English, and a lot about the aboriginals and how the lived there

Ich schreibe morgen die Englischarbeit und wir müssen einen Brief über unsere Schule schreiben. Ist dieser folgende Brief gut und was würdet ihr verbessern?:

My name is .... and I go to the German school ........... in ............ .It is a comprehensive school. Our school is big, we have about 1000 pupils and about 100 teachers. I go to the class 8.2. In my class we have 26 pupils and our teachers are Mrs..... and Mr.... . My best friend is ........ . I usually go to school by bus. We have school from Monday till Friday. The lessons are 45 minutes long. They start at 8:10 am. and finished at 12:35 pm., 13:25 pm., 15:05 pm. or 15:55 pm.. We have also a morning break that begin at 10:35 am. and finished at 10:55 am. and a lunch break that begin at 12:35 pm. and finished at 13:25 pm.. In our school we have not a school uniform. You can learn different subjects in our school for example English,Biology,German,Math and Sport. I have not a favourite or unpopular subject. A thing you can do in our school are curricular activities. We have a lot of curricular activities. For example a football club, school band, school choir, pet club, different languages club and computer club. Of course we have different rooms for example a library, cafeteria, gym, school office and assembly hall. I like my school, because the most teachers are friendly and they teach us a lot.

Englisch written discussion überprüfen?

Hey Leute! Also wir sollten in Englisch eine written Discussion schreiben and ich wollte fragen ob ihr irgendwelche Fehler findet.. (Was ihr aufjedenfall tun werdet xD) Los gents: Move your body For some students, the way to school and the sport in PE lessons are their only daily exercise. But how much physical activity does a teenager need? And what role does sport play in my life?

I think students need more daily exercises because they sit at their chair for hours. And at home they make their homework and sit again on their chair. Students have to be careful with their freetime. They have to plan their day so they have enough freetime and time for exercises. I think students need hobbys like swimming, football or another physical sports. When you do sport you feel fit and healthy. If you make more sport in your freetime you will feel how you get better in PE and you are more energetic. If you don't do sport in your freetime or only daily and you eat a lot of fast food you will get unhealthy, unfit and fat. In my life sport does play a big role in my life. At least I do 2 to 3 times in the week sport and I am fit and healthy. But sometimes I don't want to do any sport because sometimes I am a couch potato.

To sum up I think students have to do more daily exercises or get a hobby.
