Hallo,
vom Vorsagen und davon, dass wir dir das hier machen, lernst du nichts. Dein Motto sollte "Learning by doing!" sein, dann klappt es auch bald mit der englischen Bildbeschreibung.
Vielleicht helfen dir auch diese vier Schritte bei der englischen Bildbeschreibung:
1.Erster Eindruck - Was siehst du? - ganz allgemein.
In the picture / photo you can see ... - Das wird gerne falsch gemacht! / there is / there are
The photo shows ...
2.Schau genauer hin - Was siehst du im Detail?
In the foreground / background, at the top / bottom, on the right / left, in front of, next to, ...
3.Vermutungen
Maybe / Perhaps, I guess / expect that
4.Deine Meinung:
Was würdest du in dieser Situation machen?
Wärest du gerne eine der Personen auf dem Bild?

Speziell für die Beschreibung der Atmosphäre eines Bildes:
Die wichtigsten Zeitformen in einer englischen Bildbeschreibung sind das Present Progressive / Continuous (dynamic verbs: actions); für die Beschreibung, was auf dem Bild geschieht) und das Present Simple (stative verbs: Verben des Sagens; für die Aussage; say, tell, ask, seem usw.)

Den ersten Einschub finde ich nicht optimal. Statt "is" würde ich "was" schreiben. Hier mein Vorschlag:
- "Image E, a color picture of Mount Rainier, ..."
Das sehe ich genauso. Anmerken möchte ich noch, dass color = AE, colour = BE.

Für ein Ausbügeln kleinerer sprachlicher Schwächen fehlt mir gerade die Zeit.

Zum Ausbügeln der kleineren sprachlichen Schwächen hab ich aber derzeit keine Möge ...
