High School mit F1 Visum USA?
Hey, kann man eine öffentliche High School mit dem F1-Visum für ein Jahr besuchen?
Ich habe im Internet gelesen mit diesem Visum geht es nur an einer privaten, stimmt das?

Das kann man pauschal nicht so sagen.
Es liegt an der Highschool.
Ist diese bereit, die Austauschschüler sehr genau zu monitoren und gegenüber den Behörden für das korrekte Verhalten der Schüler gerade zu stehen, dann können sie die Erlaubnis erhalten das I-20 auszustellen. Das ist das Vordokument für das F-1.

An I-20 is the name of an immigration document required to apply for an F-1 visa. The I-20 is issued by an individual school in the US, and includes a summary of all relevant information for the school and student, including the dates you are anticipated to be enrolled in the degree program at that school and how you will cover the costs of your education in the US.

Die meisten Schulen geben diese Verantwortung jedoch an Sponsoren ab, diese Organisation, überprüfen die Schüler und deren korrektes Verhalten. Dafür gibt es das DS-2019 als Vordokument.
Privatschulen haben eher die Kapazitäten und die personelle und finanzielle Ausstattung ihre internationalen Schüler zu überprüfen.
