Absolute utter TRASH! This is a PATHETIC company that aims to take advantage of students (esp. foreigner students), trying to squeeze out every single penny that you have. If you just look at their website. Everything looks nice and beautiful but its B*******!!! Youniq does not meet many of its descriptions and their office scouts (house management employees) are extremely incompetent. Whenever something is broken in the building, they will find all sort of excuses that it is not their responsibility to fix. Moreover, often, during work days, you don't know where they are. Even though they should be in the office. The worst nightmare starts when you want to move out. They use all sort of dirty tricks and loop holes that students were not aware of to extend the contract. Do get yourself familiarized with the german tenant law and the actual contract beforehand, because they will be playing word games with you based on this (and you will likely loose unless you really sue them). And when you finally manage to return the room, they will charge you generously with every tiny scratch they could find in the room. Get ready to have your kaution cut by a few hundred bucks. And, of course, you should be happy if you could even get the rest of your kaution back after half a year of waiting.

Once you are in, the mindset shouldn't be, "how do i prevent myself from getting ripped off?" But, "how do I minimize the amount of unreasonable fee that I need to pay them?"

DISGUSTING & REPULSIVE Company that takes advantage of the weak. Their management team should literally be arrested and rot in jail!

Please keep in mind that this is not only my personal experience, but also many others who got ripped off during my stay. I have witnessed quite a few cases. They would try to rip you off regardless of whether you are from Germany or elsewhere.

Final advice, don't get enrolled in this or as the other comments put it. Finger Weg lassen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
