Immigration to the US from 1892 to the present

The US is a friendly country for immigrants! The Liberty of Immigrants and Native Americans are very important for the Population. Since 1892 till 1959 entered only through Ellis Island in NYC twelve million people to the USA. Overall entered more than 12 million immigrants the USA. The reasons to immigrant in another country are usually hunger, thirst and religious or politics persecution. That was an awful time for the Immigrants! They must leaved her homes to went to an unknown Place. Since 1892 entered ca. 5 million Germans to the USA, so they was the biggest Immigrant group from one country. Today the laws for US-Immigration are stricter. Assistance to illegal Immigration in the USA is now penal too. A Lots of Americans are against this law. The Center of Immigration in the USA was Ellis Island, that is today a famous museum for Immigration.
