Englisch prepositions? (Welcher Satz ist richtig)?
Hallo,
Wie sagt man, wenn man jemanden nicht verstanden hat was er am Anfang gesagt hat?
”What did you say in the beginning?”
oder
”What did you say at the beginning?”

Es reicht doch einfach: "excuse me, what did you say" wozu so kompliziert mit am Anfang. Normalerweise weiß man dann doch, ab wann du jemanden nicht verstanden hast oder ist das spezifisch die Aufgabe ?
"at the beginning" - Was hast du am Anfang (deiner Rede) gesagt?
"in the beginning" - Was hast du (ganz am Anfang, als wir uns kennenlernten) gesagt?
Hier wäre also "at the beginning" richtig.
Hallo,
- At the beginning (of) + Zeit oder Ort = Zu Anfang des/r, Am Anfang von
- In the beginning = Zuerst
