Also hier jetzt der Brief:
Dear host family,
first i wanna thank you for reading my letter. I know it's a really big responsibility to chose the right exchange student and so i put as much information as possible in this text for describing my life, hobbies or actually my personality.
My Name is Charlotte, but almost everybody calls me Lotti. I am now 14 years old, but i get 15 on June 22. 2016. First i'd like to tell you something about my family. My father is from the Netherlands, but he lives with us in Germany and he can speak also German without any accent. I am learning Netherlands at school, too. My Mother is from Germany, but she lived more than 10 years in New York Manhattan and my aunt lives there until today. Unfortunately i don't have any cousins living in the Usa. My father works in Netherlands as an Architect for kitchens and my Mother is psychologist and
nonmedical practitioner. Besides I have an older sister, who recently moved out. She made the best "diploma from German secondary school qualifying for university admission or matriculation" of the entire school with 1.1 and now she is making a social volunteering year at the North Sea. After that she intense to study medicine. Another family member is our dog Enriko, he is 8 years old and he´s a Mix out of Munsterlander and Labrador. The relationship to my family is very good.
We are living together in Baal, a small village near Düsseldorf. 15 minutes away is the small-town Erkelenz, where i go to school. I attend in the Cusanus Gymnasium Erkelenz the 9th grade. The CGE has circa 2000 pupils and it's so a very big school. Every morning i go to school by bus, but i've got also the opportunity to take the train. I am at school in a special class, called „bilingual“, that means that i have some subjects like Politics, history or geography in English, so i practice my fluently speaking more than the „normal“ classes. I started learning violin since the 5th grade as a part of a special music offer from my school, but in the meantime I am a member of our school Orchestra. As you can see has my school a big assortment of activities, whats actually unusual for Germany. My favorite subjects in school are German, physical education, Physics and of corse English. I am abitious and good marks are import to me, because i'd like to learn as much as possible.
I walk my dog Enriko every evening and also the mornings on the weekends. Furthermore i love to play with him in my leisure time or teach him some tricks. Another hobby of mine is riding. I've got a riding participation, it's not my own horse, but i can ride it, or taking care of it when ever i want to. My riding participation is a black and white tinker and her name is Ginger. My dog and me often go together to the riding stable and then i take a ride, while Enriko runs next to me and Ginger. The funny thing abou
