Hallo!
Sadie Jackson, she is Protestant, she knows half of her hometown Belfast and she has much temper. She doesn’t often go out with boys and sometimes she has the devil in her.
Then we have Kevin McCoy, he is catholic, he works at a scrap yard and is very peaceable the most time, but sometimes he loses his temper. He is seldom indoors and never does anything he doesn’t want to do. A bit of him enjoys excitement, sometimes even danger.
Another character is Tommy Jackson, he is Sadies brother, he always is covering up for Sadie and he is dating Linda Mullet.
Kevin McCoy has got a sister, she is called Brede and she is very quiet and helpful, she just always wants the best for everybody, and she very often helps her mother in the household
Then there is Linda Mullet, as mentioned before, Tommy Jackson, Sadies brother, is dating her, she is also protestant and lives on the opposite site of the Jacksons. She is a girl whose bum wiggles and whose tongue wags.
Sadies parents Mr. and Mrs. Jackson often grumble about Sadie, they really take a stand for their beliefs. They are really shocked and disappointed when they hear that their daughter is keeping company with a catholic boy
Kate Kelly is Catholic and the daughter of Kevins boss, she is in love with Kevin. If she doesn’t have her own way, she can really cause trouble
And so can Brian Rafferty, he is an old friend of Kevin’s, also Catholic, he is trying to encourage the children to draw stones at the soldiers. Brian has a capacity for fighting and sometimes he bothers Kevin.
And finally we have Mr. Blake, he is a protestant who had retired, his wife died two years ago. Mr. Blake is pretty rich and has a big house. But what’s best about him, he doesn’t care if someone’s protestant or catholic.
