(Englisch) Unterschiede zwischen VFX in Movies und Games?
By that I look forward to a understanding which programs are required to make a 3-D Game (example: Assassins Creed). Normally, as far as i know, you can different programs flexibly in movies. Blender for Character creation, 3dmax for some light effects etc..
But when you create a game there are different positions to overlook.
The IT’s create the environment with the engine. VFX’ers then communicate with the others to somehow insert the effects into the environment.
What I need to know, what additions you need to make characters and specific effects.
Does it require a deeper understanding of Algorithms or general mathematics/physics or only certain programs?
In Unity3d for example, i remember you have sprites and references you can download and use to create your own environment or modify it.
I tho, would want to create games with UE, for the simple reason that they look better.
