I think of you (Dauerzustand) , umgangssprachlich auch: "I'm thinking of you."(jetzt gerade)

es heißt,
I think of you.
Begründung:
Verben, die eine Hirnleistung beschreiben: believe, know, think, understand
werden normalerweise nur im Simple Present verwendet (nicht im Progessive).

Das hindert aber viele Leute (auch Muttersprachler) trotzdem nicht,
"I'm thinking of you." zu sagen,
denn wer spricht schon nach der Grammatik?!?

Sehe ich nicht so streng: http://www.linguee.de/englisch-deutsch/uebersetzung/i%27m+thinking+of+you.html vgl. Song "I'm thinking of you". - Wenn man "an jemanden denkt", ist das ja auch oft keine wirkliche Hirnleistung.
