Hello:) Könnte mir jemand mit der Muttersprache Englisch (oder sehr gutem Englisch) diesen Text durchlesen und mich auf Fehler hinweisen?

The occupation by the German „Wehrmacht” was a severe and harsh time in the history of Norway. The German Navy needed bases along the Norwegian coast, because Hitler wanted to make sure that the important deliveries of iron from Sweden are guaranteed and he wanted to ensure, that the Britain’s could not block the way to the Atlantic. During the war Nazi troops built bunkers, gun emplacements, airfields and roads along the Norwegian coast. The Norwegians showed, despite their "Germanic relationship," little understanding of the views of Nazism and racism. The German conquerors have probably been disappointed about that. The Norwegian fascist leader Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945) was the leader of the Fascist Party Nasjonal Samling ("National Unity"). During the German invasion of Norway on 9 April 1940 he was a "head of government" of the conquerors from the start. His name and the word "quisling" is even today the term for "collaborator". Josef Terboven replaced Quisling after a few days. In the year1940 Hitler made Josef Terboven as imperial commissioner and thus highest and direct the executive organ of Norway. The Gestapo was an important instrument of oppression, persecution and terror. The Norwegians learned to hate the Nazis during the occupation. The battle around the port of Narvik took place during the occupation of Norway and consisted of several phases. They emerged victorious from the Allies. The German fleet suffered heavy losses before Narvik. The Germans faced a great defeat, when the Allies were forced to withdraw its military forces because of the bad situation in the Battle of France, on June 8, 1940. The Battle of Narvik was the first success of the Allies in World War II. After the Allied withdrawal Narvik was again occupied by the Germans.

Dankeeee!!!

The occupation by the German „Wehrmacht” (Ich würde hier ein Gerund bevorzugen.) was a severe and harsh time in
the history of Norway (alternativ: in Norway's history). The German Navy needed bases along the Norwegian coast (kein Komma) because Hitler wanted to make sure that the important deliveries of iron from Sweden are (Zeit) guaranteed and he wanted to ensure (kein Komma) that the Britain’s (Grammatik) could not block the way to the Atlantic. During the war (Komma) Nazi troops built bunkers, gun emplacements, airfields and roads along the Norwegian coast. The Norwegians showed, despite their "Germanic relationship, (Position) " little understanding of the views of Nazism and racism.
The German conquerors have probably been disappointed (Zeit) about that. The
Norwegian fascist leader Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945) was the leader of
the Fascist Party Nasjonal Samling ("National Unity"). During the German
invasion of Norway on 9 April 1940 (Komma) he was (---) "head of government" of the
conquerors (besser: s-genitive)
from the start. His name and the word "quisling" is even today (Position) the term for "collaborator". Josef Terboven replaced Quisling
after a few days. In the year 1940 (Komma) Hitler made Josef Terboven as (Wort) imperial commissioner and thus (Hier fehlt ein Artikel.) highest and direct the executive organ of Norway.
The Gestapo was an important instrument of oppression, persecution and
terror. The Norwegians learned to hate the Nazis during the occupation.
The battle around the port of Narvik took place during the occupation of
Norway and consisted of (Hier würde ich ein anderes Verb bevorzugen.) several phases. They (Wer?) emerged victorious from the Allies (Sinn?). The German fleet suffered heavy losses before (Wort) Narvik. The Germans faced a great defeat, when the Allies were forced to withdraw its (wessen?) military forces (Der Satz ergibt keinen rechten Sinn, auch weil die Bezüge nicht ganz klar sind.) because of the bad situation in the Battle of France (kein Komma) on June 8, 1940.

The Battle of Narvik was the first success of the Allies (Ich bevorzuge den s-genitive) in World War II. After the Allied withdrawal (Komma) Narvik was again occupied by the Germans.
