Seit dem Tod ihrer Schwester ist Lisa kaum mehr wider zu erkennen. Sie kann noch nicht einmal alleine ohne mich oder ihrer Mutter schlafen. Außerdem hat sie keine lust mehr auf alles und ist ständig depressiv gestimmt.

Since death of her sister, Lisa has entirely changed. She even isn't able to sleep alone, but only next to me or her mother. Besides, she doesn’t feel like doing anything, and as a result she continually is in a depressive mood.

Since the death of her sister, Lisa has completely changed. She cannot even sleep alone, that is without me or her mother around her. Moreover, she does not feel like doing anything any more, and she is in a state of constant derpession.
(DAS is korrektes Englisch.)
Kommentar von Kathy34Kathy34 20.10.2011Wollen wir doch mal schauen: Einen Artikel for death zu setzen, ist schon mal falsch, ebenso sinnfrei ist in diesem Zusammenhang das Wort that. Abgesehen davon heißt es depression statt derpession. Soviel zum Thema "korrektes Englisch" ...! Sry - etliche Fehler!!!!
Moreover, I would like to add that English usually can't be translated one-on-one into German ;-)
