Englisch Überarbeitung?

Hallo :)

Ich habe meinen Text nach der Kritik nochmal überarbeitet und würde mich über ein neues Feedback freuen.

The first European settlers in New England, it's the area in the northeast of the USA, are called Pilgrims or Pilgrim Mothers and Fathers. They were a group of religious separatists who had broken with the Church of England. They all lived in Plymouth, a city in England. In 1620 they sailed across the Atlantic with a large ship called the Mayflower and landed in present-day Massachusetts. There they founded Plymouth Colony in the empty Wampanoag village of Patuxet. Their traditions and beliefs continue highly in the US nowadays. The most popular example : Thanksgiving.

The first Thanksgiving took place in 1621 when the settlers reached the coast of present-day Massachusetts. They celebrated the good harvest together with the Native Americans . They were very thankful to the Native Americans, because they helped them by giving them some of the harvest. So they wouldn't have survived without the Native Americans.

Thanksgiving is actually the same festival as the european one "Erntedank".

The first European settlers in New England, which is the area in the northeast of the USA, are called Pilgrims or Pilgrim Mothers and Fathers. They were a group of religious separatists who had broken with the Church of England all of whom lived in Plymouth, an English city. In 1620 they sailed across the Atlantic with a large ship called `the Mayflower´ and landed in present-day Massachusetts. There they founded Plymouth Colony in the empty Wampanoag village of Patuxet. Their traditions and beliefs continue highly was meinst du damit? in the US nowadays with Thanksgiving being the most popular example.

First Thanksgiving took place in 1621 when the settlers reached the coast of present-day Massachusetts. They celebrated the good harvest together with the Native Americans . They were very thankful to the Native Americans, because they helped them by giving them some of the harvest(z.B.: by helping them with sharing their own harvest). In conclusion, (Linking words geben dir eine Menge Punkte) they wouldn't have survived without the Native Americans´ help.

Thanksgiving is comparable to the european "Erntedankfest".

Einige Umformulierungen, solltest darauf achten nicht allzuviele Wiederholungen zu verwenden, vor allem "they". Ansonsten ganz gute Zusammenfassung!

Danke für dein Feedback.

Mit dem Satz : Their traditions and beliefs continue highly in the US nowadays , will ich sagen, dass sich deren Traditionen auch heutzutage in den vereinigten Staaten fortsetzen .

Kommentar von Jonas24895 ,

Ach ja. Hast du vielleicht eine gute Alternative für "they" ? :)

Kommentar von niko761 ,

Ich verstehe die Verwendung des Wortes "highly" nicht
Alternativen zu they:

Celebrating the good harvest, the settlers were really thankful to the Native Americans who helped them by sharing their own harvest.

Kommentar von niko761 ,

bzw "their own crop."

Kommentar von Jonas24895 ,

Ok danke vielmals :)

Dann lass ich einfach "highly" weg.
