Frage von Level09,

Englisch - Referat!

Danke!

I want to tell you about the St. Paul’s cathedral.

The St. Paul’s cathedral is already the fifth, which was built for the patron saints London at this point. In the Year 604 after JC at this place there was a wooden church.

The present church was built, after the first Church 1666 burned down. The construction of the today’s building was about 40 Years. Even after the completion, details were still being built, for example, the glass mosaic on the ceiling. It was completed in 1890.

The cathedral is very important to royal family, because their members married there like the wedding between Charles and Diana 1981. But a lot of famous people buried there, too, like John of Gaunt, the father of King Heinrich IV. This is also the reason why so many people want to visit the church. About 200,000 people visit it each year!

An attraction is the Whispering gallery. There is a round balcony. Who here whispers against a wall, he can be heard at the other side of the wall. Best whispers one nice thing, because visitors try it at the same time.

St. Paul’s is one of the largest churches and has the second largest dome in the world. This building which was designed by Christopher Wren, is over 108 metres high and more than 350 years old.

Niemals "I want to", sondern "Now I should like to tell... ---- St. Paul's Cathedral immer OHNE "the" !!!! - the patron saint in that place... In 604 AD ("after JC" gibt's nicht)

... KEIN KOMMA nach "built" und vor "after". ---- ... The construction of** today's** building took about ... years .... to** the Royal Family..**. .. married there, for example Charles and Diana** in 1981.** ... famous people** are** buried there... King Henry IV ...

Someone who whispers against a wall here can be heard...

Der nächste Satz mit "best whispers" ist unverständlcih.

Auf die Schnelle:

The cathedral is very important to royal family - kein Komma because their members married there like the wedding between Charles and Diana hier fehlt etwas 1981. But a lot of famous people hier fehlt etwas buried there, too, like John of Gaunt, the father of King Heinrich IV. This is also the reason why so many people want to visit the church. About 200,000 people visit it each year! (Stil, Wiederholung)

Today I will tell you something about the St. Paul’s cathedral.

The St. Paul’s cathedral was built for the patron saints in London. In the Year 604 after JC this place was a wooden church.

The cathedral is very important to royal family, because all member of the royal family have their wedding at this church as example the wedding of Charles and Diana 1981. But a lot of famous people buried there, too, like John of Gaunt, the father of King Heinrich IV. This is the reason why so many people are visiting the church. About 200,000 people visit it each year!

Another attraction is the Whispering gallery. There is a round balcony. if you whisper against the wall, you can be heard at the other side of the wall. The problem is only that visitors are whispering at the same time, what makes it nearly impossible to understand it.

St. Paul’s is one of the largest churches and has the second largest dome in the world. This building was designed by Christopher Wren and it is over 108 meters high and more than 350 years old.

Kommentar von earnest,

Fehler, die von Deutschen immer wieder gemacht werden:

-Die Kathedrale steht ohne Artikel, ohne Punkt hinter dem "t" und mit großem "C".

Also:
"St Paul's Cathedral"
