Was bedeutet der Bandname "System of a Down" auf deutsch?das frag ich mich schon eine weil "System von einem runter" klingt für mich nicht wirklich nach einer plausiblen Übersetzung :DVielen Dank an alle Fremdsprachenkünstler ;)

Hay, ich habe mal gelesen das, das "A" für Amerika stehen soll.& dann heißt das ja System of america down ..Das heißt dann glaub ich: System des Amerikanischen Unterganges .Aber ich weiß nicht ob das stimmt.System of a down = System des Unterganges .. Also, denke ich mal."my english is not the yellow from the egg" .. ;D

na ja, ist eigentlich ziemlich banal:das lied "f*ck the system" zum beispiel weist ziemlich stark auf die bedeutung hin, nämlich soll es sozusagen "system eines untergangs" heißen (wenn mir jetzt einer widerspricht wird er in ner wall of death sterben und ich sorg selbst dafür -.-), eben ein system, das nicht funktioniert und zwangläufig dazu führen wird, dass das system und alles was dazugehört untergeht.

Der Bandname „System of a Down“ leitet sich von einem Gedicht Malakians namens „Victims of a Down“ ab. Shavo, der ursprünglich Manager von Soil werden sollte, übernahm in der neu gegründeten Band dann den Bass.

Ach, warum auch immer alles übersetzen. Bestimmte Dinge kann man eben nicht übersetzen...
räusper ehem, leute?wie gesagt, so in die richtung "system eines untergangs", immerhin steht down nicht allein da, sondern es heißt system OF A down.und man kann alles sinngemäß übersetzen.
